Faisal Islam on Economics – Why the Canadian experience may not be answer for the UK economy
We need to cut our deficit. There are ways and means and it seems that the Canadian model which is being touted about, may not be the panacea the Coalition want it to be. Things are going to be tricky but the Tories seem to be using the deficit as a smokescreen to cut back on what the Government needs to do. So if effect, it’s the same old cuts you normally get when the Tories are in power, just dressed up differently.
