I’m sure most LibDems didn’t go into politics to be party to a budget like this and seem to have sold their souls for power.
For me it means no pay rise for three years in a row, having to retire a year later and with no council tax rise less money for my employer to employ me with. On top of this the rise in VAT to 20% we’re going to be much worse off. So thanks George, thanks for nothing.
