Ickworth House
Went to Ickworth House yesterday, drove an hour and a half only to find it was closed ! Should’ve done my home work. Had a great walk though round the grounds and a spot of lunch in the Ickworth Hotel. Felt a bit under dressed but it was very nice all the same in the Conservatory Restaurant.
Torremolinos July 2011
Got back from Torremolinos this week and we had a great time. It was very hot, perhaps too hot, but the hotel The Royal Al-Andalus was excellent with a good pool and the area La Cariheula was really pleasant. It was just what we needed after the aggro of the last six months.
Old Thorns
Down in Hampshire waiting to tee off for the second round of the weekend. The course is excellent but they’ve done work on the greens which has spoilt it a bit and made tricky greens even more tricky. The hotel is good if a little too warm and there are no complaints about the food. [...]
