It was a win double on Deuteronomy in the 2:40 at Newcastle and Wood Chorus in the 3:50 at Wolverhampton. Deuteronomy obliged in the first race but Wood Chorus (who started odds on) was beaten into 2nd by a 33-1 shot who was going away at the finish.

Every punter bemoans their luck I know. It just seems a bit dodgy when things like that happen.
