From then on if you have automatic updates turned on, SP2 will automatically download. Personally though I don&#8217;t use the automatic updates &#8220;feature&#8221; of XP for updates. I don&#8217;t need SP2 because my email has anti-virus and anti-spamming at the server end, I use Firefox as my browser and have a hardware firewall. Why won&#8217;t Microsoft give people the option not to have SP2 ?</p>
