If this country is so bad why do people such as this lot live here ? Surely if they want to live an Islamic life which is obviously their right, why don’t they live in an Islamic country ?

Why do we give freedom to groups like this who would take our hard won freedoms away if they could ? No one asks them to live in this country do they ? They certainly wouldn’t get the freedom to criticise like this if they lived in a Muslim country. It really makes me mad.

I’m glad someone in the press has finally had the guts to say what we’re all feeling. We are very tolerant in the country, something we should be proud of. When you see people deliberately flaunting our customs in a seeming act of defiance, it just makes you feel like saying if you don’t like it here then go and live somewhere else.

Muslim doctor claims discrimination over Friday prayers – Telegraph.

Why do people come to this country and then complain about the way we live ? It’s a bit like joining a golf club where the rules say you aren’t allowed to wear jeans or us mobiles in the clubhouse and then complain about it. If that’s the rules, then that’s the rules.

Yasmin Alibhai-Brown is one of those people who make my blood boil who her views and how she looks down on the majority community in this country. This article shows that once again in the Rushdie case it was everyone else’s fault and not a self-inflicted wound by Muslims. There are some great comments on this article especially the ones by doug_piranha.

So if a man gropes a woman in public he’ll get a small fine. If a woman dresses in what is deemed to be an inappropriate manner, she gets a jail sentence. Only in the Muslim world.

Men who groped a woman on Taksim Square last New Year’s Eve were fined 57 lira ($45, £23).

The fisherwoman in a flimsy dress was given a five-month suspended prison sentence for exhibitionism.

The protesters sang songs and carried banners calling for the law on exhibitionism to be overturned.

They argue it reinforces the patriarchal order in Turkey and discriminates against women.

Sharia law ? Even for mediation this cannot be allowed to happen. Why does the top judge condone this madness ? Once we’re on this slippery slop, the descent into total madness won’t be far away.
